Where we are
Getting to Mangonui
By road
Coming from the South : We are four hour's drive north of Auckland and
one hour north of Bay of Islands.
You will approach Mangonui on SH 10. Do not turn into Mangonui, keep going
another 400m and at the end of the passing lane, turn right into Colonel
Mould Drive (signposted to St Andrew's Church and Mangonui School). Drive
to the very end of the road.
Coming from the North : We are 1.5 hour's drive from Cape Reinga and 25
minutes from Kaitaia airport.
You will approach Mangonui on SH 10. Do not turn into Mangonui, keep going
another 100m and then turn left into Colonel Mould Drive. Drive to the very
end of the road.
PLEASE NOTE: BE VERY CAREFUL IF FOLLOWING GPS DIRECTIONS. They may take you to the very steep Thomas Strret which does not connect to Colonel Mould Drive.
By air
There are two daily return flights from Auckland to Kaitaia Airport operated by Barrier Air and four daily return flights to Kerikeri Airport (about 60 minutes drive) operated by Air New Zealand Link. Rental cars are available at both airports.
